Obemi works to restore degraded rangelands through community-led conservation initiatives that improve biodiversity while strengthening local livelihoods.
Our interventions include
Obemi is establishing the Hospitality and Regeneration Academy, an innovative vocational training centre designed to equip underserved youth with practical skills for the green economy. The Academy aims to train approximately 20 young people annually while creating pathways to employment, internships, and enterprise development.

Situated within the Amboseli-Tsavo-Kilimanjaro wildlife landscape, Obemi promotes conservation approaches that protect critical wildlife migration corridors while reducing human-wildlife conflict through community participation.

Flagship Initiative
The flagship initiative of Obemi is the Obemi Regenerative Hub, an integrated restoration and learning centre being developed across the Loitokitok landscape. Designed as a living classroom, the Hub demonstrates how ecological restoration can create sustainable livelihoods while protecting one of East Africa's most important wildlife ecosystems.
